Brandhound’s Creative Director, Cody T. Ransom, is a forward-thinking and innovative figure in today’s advertising and design industry. Although he is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, this aspect of his life is but one part of a much larger tapestry of experiences that have come to define his unique approach to branding.

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Graphic Design, Cody began his career in advertising at Landor. There, he cultivated a deep understanding of brand strategy and identity design. This experience laid a solid foundation for his future roles and honed his skills in creating compelling brand narratives.

Cody then moved to work directly for Intel, where he played a significant role in a number of international campaigns. His work for Intel displayed a fresh perspective on the brand’s image, reinvigorating its status in the tech industry.

Throughout his career, Cody has always drawn inspiration from a wide array of artistic influences. He has a profound appreciation for the works of visionaries like Paul Rand and Milton Glaser and often integrates elements from their approach into his own unique style.

Later, at Wieden+Kennedy and Saatchi & Saatchi, Cody continued to expand his portfolio, working with diverse global brands. These roles allowed him to understand and leverage different market nuances and consumer psychologies, tailoring strategies to achieve brand success.

Cody also made significant strides in the media industry, notably during his work with ABC/Disney radio and their KGO client. Here, he crafted innovative strategies to strengthen audience engagement and improve the station’s overall brand presence.

Before stepping into his current role at Brandhound, Cody had the opportunity to work on the Clorox account for OMD International. Clorox brands include its namesake bleach and cleaning products, as well as Brita, Burt’s Bees, Formula 409, Glad, Hidden Valley, Kitchen Bouquet, KC Masterpiece, Soy Vay, Kingsford, Liquid-Plumr, and numerous other products. He masterminded a transformative campaign that updated the brand’s image, aligning it more closely with contemporary trends and societal values.

As Creative Director of Brandhound, Cody brings a fusion of artistic flair and strategic thinking to the table. His ability to craft compelling brand stories has shaped the company’s ethos and positioned it as a leader in creating resonating brand narratives.
