For more than 20 years, The Brandhound Agency has helped hospitality businesses and destinations harness the power of storytelling to forge lasting connections with travelers. Founded in Oakland in 1996 as an early pioneer in streaming media, we quickly discovered our passion for destination marketing, growing into trusted partners for iconic brands like Napa Valley, Visit St. Helena, Visit Calistoga, RussianRiver.com, and Visit TriValley. Fourteen years ago, we blended our passion for travel and dogs by launching Northern California’s leading dog-friendly travel site, opening up an entirely new audience for the region.

Now proudly rooted in the Russian River Valley, we specialize in combining data-driven strategy with authentic storytelling to help hospitality brands—from wineries and hotels to restaurants and boutique businesses—find their voice and thrive. Our agency is small by choice but mighty by design, made up of an agile team of digital experts who believe deeply in the transformative power of compelling narratives.

Giving back is integral to our identity: 10 percent of our work each year is donated pro bono to support local nonprofits, charities, and community initiatives.
